How health works in Essex

Find out how health in Essex is divided up by area

Healthcare in Essex is divided up into Integrated Care Boards (ICB).  Each ICB has a community health provider who provides the community health care in that area.

Your GP will be in one of these areas. If you do not have a GP yet, search on the NHS website.

When your GP looks at how to best help you, they might look at specialist services in your local ICB.
