There are shortages in ADHD medications across the UK affecting children and adults.
If your child is affected by the shortage in ADHD medications:
- let your child’s school or setting know
- agree a plan with the school’s SEN team about how to support your child
- continue ordering repeat ADHD medication as usual
- do not stockpile the medication
- check stock at your local pharmacy
- do not suddenly stop treatment unless advised to do so
- contact your GP or specialist service if you are unable to find medication for your child
