Where there is a passenger assistant in place they will:

  • be first aid trained, to include child and adult life saving skills
  • be trained in wheelchair/tail lift operation where appropriate
  • have received specific Passenger Assistant Training
  • have been briefed on the needs of children they will be transporting
  • be carrying an ID badge
