How it can help
Autism Anglia assists those with autism and their families. Their services support people to build confidence and independence.
Services for children and young people and their families include:
- autism assessments for children aged 3 and older
- ADHD assessments for children aged 7 and older.
Families living in North East Essex can join the Community Connect programme for:
- personal advice and support
- drop-in sessions
- social groups
The team can talk on the phone, email, or visit you at home.
Services for autistic adults aged 18+ include:
- activities to help learn new skills at Opportunities Centres
- autism assessments for adults aged 18+
- ADHD assessments for adults aged 18+
- outreach to teach life skills, like cooking, shopping and cleaning, support going to appointments or join leisure activities

0 to 25 years for most services, including Community Connect programme
18+ for services for adults

A diagnosis is not needed.
You must live in North East Essex for the Community Connect programme
