Barleylands Farm Park

Barleylands has a range of farm animals, reptiles, birds of prey, craft workshops and restaurants. The Farm Park offers lots of indoor and outdoor activities so you can visit in all weathers.

How it can help

We have a range of indoor activities, including:

  • Indoor Animal Encounter Barn
  • Indoor Play Barn
  • Ball Blasting Barn and Undercover Sandpit
  • Discovery Barn

We also have outdoor activities which include:

  • mini tractors
  • tractor rides
  • zip wire
  • bouncy pillow
  • play frames and swings

Disabled parking

  • large free car park for cars and coaches with designated disabled spaces
  • flat so access to and from the car park is easy
  • close to the entrance and only a short walk into The Village

  • benches positioned throughout
  • most areas of the farm are on ground level apart from the Snake Alive reptile house which has two levels
  • wheelchair/pushchair accessible lift to gain entry to the upper floors
  • automatic doors are in use around the farm, including reception
  • wide corridors and doorways throughout The Village
  • two free wheelchairs are available to hire - ask at reception
  • five disabled toilets - including one in the Farm Park and one in the Tiptree Tea Room
  • guide/assistance dogs are welcome at Barleylands
