BASIS supports adults with sight loss in South Essex, helping to reduce isolation, increase confidence and promote independent living

How it can help

BASIS offer the following:

  • social and activity based groups
  • advice on equipment
  • computer training
  • braille training
  • quarterly newsletter

The charity works closely with Guide Dogs and RNIB which means they can share information and advice about their activities and services too. BASIS also frequently co-host events with Guide Dogs and RNIB.
