Bedazzle Arts

Offers performing arts training and community services to young people with special educational needs and/or disabilities

How it can help

Bedazzle Arts provide online and in-person community theatre programmes. The programmes offer the chance to take performance exams and perform in theatres if a person chooses to.

They also offer a foundation course or young people with additional needs, including social, emotional and mental health difficulties and special educational needs. The Level 2 and 3 Performing Arts courses are for aspiring disabled performers aged 16 and over, and can help:

  • improve communication skills
  • develop performance techniques
  • gain experience of auditions
  • gain work experience

The course can be a pathway to professional work. Young people who take the course have their headshots taken, make showreels and can add to their CV.

There is also the opportunity to join the Bedazzle inclusive talent agency and access professional auditions.

Bedazzle Arts also provide education programmes for young people aged 16 and above with an EHCP, who are not in school. Their programmes are delivered on an individual basis to meet students’ needs. Programmes are typically delivered in community settings, or online.
