Bfriends

Programme to support adults over 18 years with learning disabilities and autism in Braintree and Chelmsford to explore their local community and make new friends.

How it can help

Bfriends is designed to match participants and volunteers with similar interests, so participants can get involved in activities of their choice, supported by a volunteer. This can be things such as, meeting up with friends, shopping, a hobby, learning how to cook or getting out and about in their local community.

Support provided by Bfriends is peer led and light touch to help participants build skills and the confidence to do these activities independently.
