An accessible camp for families with children with complex needs

How it can help

Camp Jojo can support six to seven families at a time and allows children with complex needs and disabilities and their families to enjoy a camping holiday in Essex.

Families and their children can camp for three days on an adapted campsite on Ivy Farm in East Mersea. The camp will support whatever equipment you need. Their team of family support volunteers will provide as much help as you would like.

There are lots of activities that you can get involved in, including:

  • bushcraft
  • foraging
  • beach time
  • tomahawk throwing
  • feeding farm animals
  • campfires
  • tai chi
  • music
  • massage

Camp Jojo do not want anyone not to be able to attend for financial reasons. Therefore, they are able to offer some bursaries
