A goalball club for blind and partially sighted people.

How it can help

Goalball is a Paralympic team sport for people with visual impairments. Teams of three throw a ball with bells inside down a court to score goals. The other team uses their bodies to block the ball. The team with the most goals wins. Everyone is blindfolded during the game.

Equipment needed:

  • indoor trainers
  • long trousers
  • long-sleeved top
  • a water bottle

Padding and eye shades will be provided.

Parents, friends and siblings are welcome to stay and join in too.

14+

Eligibility

People of all sight levels, from fully sighted to totally blind, can play goalball. 

Everyone wears shades, so everyone is welcome.
