Chicken and Frog Bookshop

Run free monthly social groups for neurodiverse children and young people. They also run a monthly support group for parents and carers.

How it can help

Chicken and Frog bookshop run monthly social groups for neurodiverse children and young people.

They run one group for primary aged children. This is facilitated by a teacher with experience of working with children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).

They run a second group for teenagers. This is a safe space for teenagers to meet. It is not facilitated by an adult.

They also run a monthly support group for parents and carers with neurodiverse children. Guest speakers are invited along from time to time. These may include professionals such as speech and language therapists.

They also run a sensory grotto at the end of November each year.
