- braille on exhibitions and floor plans
- subtitled films within the galleries
- staff trained in basic British Sign Language
- audio described tours and object handling sessions
- quiet 'calm at the castle' sessions with a sensory space and noisy interactives turned off

Guests need a ticket to visit. People with disabilities can buy a concession ticket and bring a carer for free. Proof of disability may be requested.
