An independent charity providing advice and assessments to help people who struggle with independent outdoor mobility.

How it can help

They have a range of services to help people get out and about, including:

  • vehicle access and equipment assessments, to help recommend adaptations and aids for people who struggle accessing vehicles
  • younger persons passenger assessments, to assess the young person's needs to recommend the most suitable car seat for them, looking at both mainstream and specialised seats
  • potential to learn to drive assessments, a fully comprehensive assessment of someone's cognitive and physical abilities to assess whether they have the potential to learn to drive and what extra support they may require
  • specialist driving tuition
  • mobility advice service, a free service to assess the individuals transport needs, creating them a unique travel plan using local services
  • powered wheelchairs for children under the age of 6 (Bugzi) as well as powered wheelchair and scooter assessments for adults
