How it can help
esSENtial consultancy work directly with children and young people and their families to provide support in a variety of areas, including:
- carrying out a consultation with families looking for support and creating a plan of action
- working with children and young people to recognise and manage their emotions, anxiety and build self-esteem
- providing parents practical resources and strategies to help their child manage their emotions
- providing support in applying for an ehc needs assessment
- providing advice on the use of visuals in the home to aid communication, following instructions and improve behaviour
- supporting families to understand more about their child's condition
