Offer holiday activity clubs to support children and young people's physical, mental and social well being.

How it can help

Essex Activate offer free holiday clubs for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) who are in receipt of income related free school meals with a small number of discretionary places for low income families. 

Activities include:

  • arts and crafts
  • sensory play
  • quizzes and puzzles
  • role play
  • performing arts
  • soft play
  • multisport and team games
  • outdoor exploration

They offer support for children and young people with a range of SEND needs. 

They also provide a nutritious meal for all children and young people who attend. 

Age

4 to 16

Eligibility

Must be on benefit based free school meals or from low income working families. See the website for further information.
