How it can help
Essex Family Forum gather feedback from SEND families through their Family Champion network, their virtual graffiti wall, surveys and parent engagement sessions. Their aim is that the views and lived experiences of the families they represent bring about positive change by working with:
• the local authority
• education settings
• health commissioners
• other providers
Everyone involved with the forum are parent/carers themselves.
The forum is also part of a wider network of parent carer forums including the Eastern Region Parent Carer Forum and the National Network of Parent Carer Forums.

Eligibility
Membership is open to anyone who is a parent or carer of a child or young person with any additional need or disability.
