A support group for families caring for children in Tendring
How it can help
EXTRA Support for Families offer opportunities for parents and carers to meet at workshops, informal parent peer support groups and a range of programmes and courses.
They offer free courses and workshops about a range of topics, including:
- supporting a child with additional needs
- Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
- sensory processing difficulties
They also run a SEN parent group at the Walton Community Centre on the last Wednesday of the month during term time.

Parents or carers of children aged 0 to 25 in the Tendring district.
