Independence Project

Independence Project offers disabled adults a personalised programme of activities to engage you within a fun safe environment whilst achieving goals

How it can help

The Independence Project offer a full personalised programme of activities to engage young people within a fun safe and nurturing environment whilst achieving goals. Their training programs are carried out with a person centred fully holistic approach to meet the needs of each individual.

Many young people who have additional needs require training programs that are specifically targeted and tailored to the way that they learn and retain information to help them achieve the best outcomes.

The Independence Project provide a consistent approach which in turn provides for optimum development and offers a huge amount of confidence building. They take time to get to know the people they work with and build relationships with the individual and their family/carers. Their staff have worked with many young people across Essex who have a wide variety of needs and have built up extensive experience within this field and know how to get the best results from the individual.

Many parents, carers and young people can also benefit from their wealth of knowledge when it comes to navigating the world of funding and personal budgets within social services.

Independence Clubs CIC is their sister company where people can also access weekly evening social clubs, supported holidays, weekend activities and more.

Their base offers facilities to give the people the best surroundings to be able to socialise, learn and grow as individuals. They also have a community allotment where members can enjoy the benefits of being outside and growing their own food.
