How it can help
The Jigsaw centre is an autism specific day service, based in Colchester, offering activities and projects tailored to the individual's interests and needs.
They run 2 sessions per day and have a 2 to 1 support ratio. This means that there is one instructor for every two people that attend.
Activities include:
- art & textiles
- social & creative
- health & wellbeing
- life skills
- horticulture
- music
There is also a sensory room, gym and a nearby allotment.
The Jigsaw centre focus on building independence and social skills.
They offer long-term placements.
