An NHS funded service for parents and carers of children and young people on the journey of autism diagnosis or who have been recently diagnosed. There is an additional service for young people, aged 12 to 25 years.
How it can help
The Essex Autism Hub has a wealth of useful information. It gives members access to book onto free weekly group webinars to get information and support form experts, experts by experience and other youngsters and parents.
The service helps families to understand more about autism. You can:
- join free weekly online webinars
- find information about autism and how to support your autistic child
- join weekly online support groups
- find services in the directory of services across Essex, Southend and Thurrock
- connect with other people in similar situations
- learn tips and strategies so young people can learn to support themselves.
The service was co-produced with families with lived experience of autism.
