Supporting autistic adults, adults with learning disabilities and their carers
How it can help
The Local Linked Support team support adults to achieve their goals and ambitions. They help adults to understand what is important to them and help them to plan how to achieve their goals.
They offer short-term support for around four months. This could include signposting to:
- local groups
- assistive technology and equipment solutions
- housing-related support
- welfare benefits organisations
- money management/advice services
- employment, education and training opportunities
- health support
- emotional wellbeing support
Age
18+
Eligibility
For autistic adults, adults with learning disabilities and their carers. A formal diagnosis is not required to receive support. To access, they must not receive funded care or be currently supported through Adult Social Care.
