Neurospicy Support Group

A support and information group for the neurodiverse and their families.

How it can help

Neurospicy run an informal weekly support group. They offer support and ideas for those who feel unheard or want to share their experiences.

Whether you're:

  • a parent or carer of a diagnosed child
  • a parent suspecting your child might be neurodivergent
  • a neurodivergent adult

This group offers:

  • a safe space to share experiences
  • peer guidance, support and advice for families
  • term time sessions, where preschool and home-schooled children are always welcome
  • visits from guest speakers such as Autism Anglia and Citizen's advice bureau
  • refreshments for everyone!

Some topics covered include:

  • diagnoses
  • benefit entitlements
  • working with your school SENCO
  • home schooling
  • EHC plans
  • managing meltdowns
