Provides Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) assessments to adults aged 18 and above

How it can help

Assessment of ASD can inform the care and support package and may lead to a better understanding of the person’s particular needs and adjustments required to support the person.

The team work closely with SUMMIT Advocacy Services who provide support to the person referred, prior to the assessment and after the assessment.

Eligibility

Adults suspected of having an Autistic Spectrum Disorder who are:

  • registered with a GP in West Essex
  • not open to secondary mental health services or learning disability services

Referral from a GP required
