How it can help
The Children's Community Nursing team provides care for children and young people with an identified nursing need.
A child’s condition/needs may be short or long-term. For example, wound care, administration of antibiotics, or treatment for cancer.
They work closely with other professionals to help prevent children being admitted to hospital, to enable early discharge.

0 to 19
Eligibility
Children and young people who are registered with a GP in Basildon, Brentwood or Thurrock and have an acute nursing or continuing care nursing need that can be managed in a community setting
