NHS - Children's Continence and Enuresis Service - Mid Essex

Provides specialist advice, care, treatment and support for children and young people with daytime and night time wetting, continence problems and delayed toilet training

How it can help

The service provides:

  • Advice on treatment methods available to help gain bladder control.
  • Support for children and their families during the time in our care.
  • A range of treatments including alarms and vibrating watches.
  • Training is available from the website and access can be requested. If school support is required, then they can support with education and care plans. 

All patients are given a comprehensive, holistic assessment and treatment tailored to the individual needs.

Age

Enuresis: 5 to 19

Continence: 4 to 19

Eligibility

Children and young people with continence needs who are registered with a GP in the Mid Essex area
