Offers practical guidance to help children who have special dietary needs.

How it can help

The service helps children and their families make appropriate food and lifestyle choices and manage dietary changes when a child:

  • has faltering growth
  • has suspected or identified nutritional deficiencies
  • has suspected or diagnosed food allergies (for example, coeliac disease or diagnosed non-IgE mediated allergies only)
  • is a fussy or selective eater and needs to expand their range of food
  • has constipation

0 to 18

Children and young people who are registered with a West Essex GP.
