The North East Wheelchair Service provide wheelchairs and other equipment to help people be as mobile as possible.

Their service will assess your needs to make sure you get the right help. They will look at your physical and mental health and the support you have from family, friends and carers and will consider where you live and your daily transport needs.

They can provide a wide range of mobility support. This includes buggies and manual and powered wheelchairs, as well as equipment to help with postural support and pressure care.

Adults or children with a permanent disability who are registered with a GP in North East Essex.

Referral by a healthcare professional required, such as:

  • physiotherapist
