Noise Solution

An alternative provision that helps young people by using music technology and mentoring.

How it can help

Noise Solution helps young people to build their confidence and improve their wellbeing by using music and technology.

Noise Solution teaches a variety of skills through their music mentoring programs. These include:

  • musical skills, such as learning to play instruments, music production, and song writing
  • technical skills, such as music software and recording equipment
  • social skills, such as building confidence, communication, and teamwork
  • emotional skills, such as improving self-esteem, managing emotions, and developing resilience.
  • life skills  such as setting goals, problem-solving, and time management

Noise Solution offer three levels of support:

  • high frequency, intensive support for those with the highest needs
  • mid frequency, 20 hour blocks shown to have a positive impact on young people and their families
  • low frequency, monthly one to one sessions and weekly group work to maintain relationships
