A community led support group for parents and carers of neurodiverse children and adults.

How it can help

Not A-Typical Support Group run a monthly support group in Wivenhoe. They ensure that parents and carers can meet others with similar experiences.

This group offer:

  • to support parents and carers emotional and mental wellbeing
  • support and advice on navigating the complexities of the diagnostic process
  • to provide a support network for parents and carers after the diagnosis
  • adhoc talks from professionals that work within the field of neurodiversity

Eligibility

Open to all who have a child and adults with neurodiverse needs. No diagnosis required, anyone that believes their child is neurodiverse is welcome.

No booking required, just turn up or contact if you would like further information.
