How it can help
The Peaceful Pony CIC is an alternative education provision. They are child led and support neurodiverse children that may have experienced trauma. Support can include equine facilitated learning.
Learning takes place at their animal assisted therapy space, or in people's homes. Children may work with therapy animals, such as horses, dogs, cats and other small animals.
They offer different types of learning supporting by the AQA learning framework. This includes cooking, beauty and art and design.
Staff includes counsellors, teachers and specialist mental health nurses and support workers. They also offer family support including family therapy, SEND advice and talking therapy.
