A charity providing support to seriously ill children and their families, in the family home and local community

How it can help

The Rainbow Trust Children's Charity provides help to families manage everyday life while caring for a sick child and to make the most of time together. A family support worker will provide practical and emotional support.

Support also includes:

  • short breaks from caring
  • family activity days
  • drop-in groups
  • support with hospital visits, including transport to and from appointments
  • support for siblings
  • bereavement support

Online support is also available for families who are out of the area of a local care team.

A 24 hour service is also available for families in crisis.
