How the Service Helps
The SEND Careers Service aims to ensure that young people and their families can access the right careers information, advice, and guidance at the right time by:
- providing early access to information and support
- increasing awareness and visibility of careers and Preparing for Adulthood resources
- offering more flexible ways for families to access guidance and support
- providing focused support for young people who need more personalised careers guidance
- strengthening the connection between careers planning and positive adult outcomes
Age
14 to 25
Eligibility
A young person aged 14 to 25 with SEND who has a current Education Health and Care Plan (EHCP) or Higher Needs Funding.
