A charity providing support, activities and social events for people with Down Syndrome and their families.
How it can help
The charity provides a range of support and events, including:
- an occupational therapist, physiotherapist and SALT to give advice
- sign language and makaton lessons
- a group for pre-schoolers (term time only)
- music, drama and dance sessions
- a specialist teacher who can visit your child's nursery or school to provide advice to the staff
- 1 to 1 swimming lessons or horse riding lessons (part-funded by the charity)
- social events (such as day trips, disco, soft play, family fun swimming) to meet other families
