Ordinarily Available: Targeted Support (for some pupils with SEND)
The Ordinarily Available: Targeted Support sets out the expected additional provision which is ordinarily available in mainstream schools for some children and young people who have been identified as having special educational needs.
These additional strategies and practices will be relevant for some pupils.
The Targeted Support framework covers:
- Social, emotional and mental health
- Physical and sensory impairments
- Communication and Interaction
- Cognition and Learning (literacy, maths, memory, metacognition and self regulated learning)
- Early Years
