Search for support, groups and activities

Feedback

Parents found it hard to navigate when searching for support, groups or activities. They found it difficult to find important information, such as cost and location.

Parents told us that the filter options were in the way when looking at the Local Offer website on a mobile device.

Young people told us there was a lot to read and the activities sounded ‘boring’.

Response

We created a new directory. Parents and young people can filter their search by:

  • special need
  • location
  • age
  • support type

Filters are all collapsed by default for users on mobile devices.

We used headers and bullets to make information easier to read.
