During the EHC needs assessment process, or once the annual review report is received, the SEND Quadrant Resource Panel will consider your request.
They will consider:
- your child’s needs
- progress towards their outcomes
They will also contact the school or schools you request. They will send information about your child to these schools to see if they can meet their needs and if they have a place for them.
The schools will reply to the SEND Operations Team to confirm if they will be able to meet your child's needs.
If the school feels that they cannot meet your child's needs, they will write a response with an explanation for why they feel they can't meet their needs, even with reasonable adjustments.
