How it can help
Ivy Palmer will find you the right live-in carers who can offer support for young adults with a wide range of conditions. We can also help arrange support for young adults who are recovering from sustained treatment or a long period in hospital. Here’s a list of some of the conditions we can provide care for:
- Brain injury care and support
- Cerebral Palsy
- Down Syndrome
- Learning Disabilities
- Mental Health issues
- Motor Neurone Disease
- Multiple Sclerosis
- Muscular Dystrophies
- Neurological care
- Parkinson's
- Spinal injuries
- Stroke
As part of their supporting young adults services, they also provide help for parents and other family members during transition of care or rehabilitation programmes, providing an important source of resources and reassurance during challenging times.
If you need respite care for young adults with special needs, or another condition, they’ll be able to suggest carers to you in a time frame that works for you. Alternatively, should you need long term care for young adults, they can also help you staff the care that suits you.
