How it can help
Lads Need Dads supports young boys who may lack positive male role models in their lives. Volunteers act as mentors, giving advice and support in a caring and safe environment.
They provide programs and support for boys including:
- a male-led group mentoring programme
- bush-craft survival training and outdoor activities
- practical life skill training
- access to inspirational male speakers
- community volunteering opportunities
- leadership and peer mentoring opportunities
- ongoing open-ended support
- family support service
- reading mentor programme
New programmes are advertised via their social media channels and direct with schools.
