A project, run by the BME (Black and Minority Ethnic) Carers Support Service, offering free workshops for unpaid carers.

How it can help

The Themis Project supports carers of children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) by providing free workshops that not only empower carers but gives respite. 

These workshops will help you:

  • learn new skills
  • gain confidence
  • create a supportive network
  • understand how the council supports you and your family
  • become a Carers Champion and advocate for your community
