Thera East

Thera East provides support to people with a learning disability in their own home, in the community and for short breaks (respite).

How it can help

We can provide whatever support is needed for a person to live in their own home, including helping them to find a suitable home in the area they want to live in. Our community support teams can provide support starting from an hour a week. We support people with things such as:

  • Visiting leisure facilities
  • Attending health appointments
  • Gardening
  • Cooking or cleaning
  • Going on holiday or day trips
  • Personal care
  • Learning independence skills
  • Going to work or college

We also offer short breaks (respite) through Stonecroft, which is based in Braintree, Essex.
