How it can help

Supports people to be heard in decisions about their health, care and wellbeing.

Voiceability have services for:

  • children and young people with SEND
  • people with mental health conditions
  • people with a learning disability

An advocate can help:

  • you understand what is happening
  • you say what you want and don’t want
  • explain your options and your rights
  • plan with you about what to do next
  • come to meetings with you, if you want
  • talk to other people for you, if you want

Eligibility

Open to all. 

Self referrals are accepted for general advocacy, NHS complaints and Independent Mental Health advocacy. 

Referral from NHS professionals and Socials Workers required for some services.
