How it can help

Wat Tyler Country Park is an inclusive outdoor space for families. The Changing Places facilities are located opposite the Wat Tyler centre. 

The inclusive play area includes:

  • accessible swings
  • a dedicated sensory area
  • a roundabout
  • musical equipment
  • a zipwire
  • balance equipment
  • sandpit area with diggers
  • wooden climbing frames suitable for toddlers to teenagers

The area is enclosed and includes benches and picnic tables. 

There are also:

  • 125 acres to explore
  • wildlife spotting opportunities
  • events held throughout the year

The park is open all day and closes in the evening.

To access the Changing Places facilities, contact via email and complete the entrance key application form.
